The 90 minute show is expected to start at 1pm and will feature all the hits from one of the biggest bands of the 1980s.
Alistair Martin, who plays the role of original Duran bassist John Taylor, is no stranger to Southsea Bandstand having played there the last two years with his other band The Live Karaoke Band.
"I'm really looking forward to this event, without a doubt," he said. "The shows we did with LKB were so much fun and the Pompey crowd, as always, sing their hearts out and join in with the fun."
